An exchange between Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti and Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies has gone viral in the aftermath of the meeting between the two sides.

Real and Bayern of course locked horns for the latest time on the continent late on Wednesday night.

As much came in the 2nd leg of their Champions League semi-final tie.

When all was said and done done, it was hosts Real Madrid who emerged on the right side of the result, thanking a late brace on the part of substitute Joselu for a 2-1 victory.

The aforementioned Davies, meanwhile, was the man on target for Bayern, cutting inside onto his right foot before driving an unstoppable finish beyond Andriy Lunin.

The Canadian’s exploits sparked immediate chatter across the European football landscape, with Davies, of course, having been widely tipped to link up with Real Madrid with a view to next season.

In turn, the post-match actions on the part of the 23-year-old only served in pushing such chatter into overdrive.

As his teammates attempted to come to terms with a devastating defeat at the Santiago Bernabéu, Davies was spotted in discussion with none other than Carlo Ancelotti.
