Real Sociedad are back into the top six with a solid victory over Valencia at Reale Arena. It was an early goal from Andre Silva that set Imanol Alguacil’s side on their way, and that was enough for the three points, which means that they control their destiny in the race for Europa League qualification. The result also means that Valencia’s hopes of playing in Europe next season have officially been ended.

Las Palmas 2-2 Real Betis

The early kick-off saw a very entertaining draw play out between Las Palmas and Real Betis. The visitors twice lead courtesy of Mika Marmol (OG) and Ayoze Perez, but goals from Alex Suarez and Alberto Moleiro ensured a share of the spoils.

With La Real’s result, Betis have now dropped to seventh, while a point for Las Palmas should be enough for them to secure their place in La Liga for next season.
